Maximum Signs is a family-owned and operated sign manufacturer proudly serving Ontario and beyond since 1990. Originally founded as Scugog Signs, we have grown into a trusted leader in traffic signage, construction signage, road sign manufacturing, and custom signage solutions, backed by decades of hands-on industry experience.
Our story began in a small shop in Blackstock, Ontario, with owner Ron Haslam as the sole employee—handling everything from design to manufacturing. As demand grew, we expanded into a larger facility in Nestleton, ON, increased our workforce, and within five years relocated to our current home in Pontypool, Ontario, where we continue to operate today.
As our capabilities expanded, we rebranded from Scugog Signs to Maximum Signs — a name that reflects our commitment to delivering maximum quality, durability, and service across every project.
